I just realized I have not posted about teaching. Can I just say it is awesome. I know I've only got a week under my belt and perhaps it is still the honeymoon. But, honestly, I'm a natural if I do say so myself. I haven't been nervous or had trouble filling the time or anything. And, from what I can tell, the students are very receptive to the content and myself!
I met with the Dept. Head on Friday, and he was very happy to hear I was enjoying it. He encouraged me to look into getting my PhD in Family Studies in Ames. If the semester goes as well as it is now, I may look into it! Could my dream of being a professor come true? Seems like it might be a possibility. How awesome would that be????

I have to say I would love to take a class from you. I think you would be a fantastic full time professor! :) if you have the chance I would grab on and take it and make your dream come true!
